Merri/Cressida/open - early evening
"None taken!" said Merri happily. "I understand, I don't know all the classes between the Fighters Guild and the Bards Guild, either. Every time I meet someone new, I feel like I learn about a new class." Knights, archers, and monks, of course, were a given, but then there were the more specialized classes, like sentinels. Beyond that, Merri had trouble remembering the rest. "Would you like me to explain red mages? It's really easy, I promise!"
Then, without waiting for a response from her because the topic excited him so much, he went on, "Well, most mages like to specialize in one area of magic or another, like black or white or blue or synergy or time or mystic. Red mages like to learn all sorts of spells in every field, if we can. Most focus on either just black or white spells, but sometimes others deviate into other fields. Most of us even train in weaponry, too, like the blue mages do, but none of us are anywhere up to par with anyone in the Fighters Guild, of course!"
He stopped and sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to... I hope that explanation helped?"
