Merri/Cressida/open - early evening
Merri believed that there wasn't, in the end, that much of a difference between fighters and mages, and Cressida's dedication to her training reminded Merri of the hours many mages pored over books and in casting rooms.
"Practice makes perfect, and no wonder you're such a great archer!" said Merri, recalling the Garuda hunt. Her pinpoint accuracy had been a true lifesaver that day. "But I'm also glad to see you made it out here. It's such a beautiful day!" Or was, as the sun was beginning to dip towards the horizon, but the evening was already proving to be just as gorgeous.
He grinned. "And I did just get here. There was a machinist seminar that I promised a friend I'd go to, and it was really fun!"
