Lex/Rictor - Sunset.
Lex remained where she was, as if it had, at some point, become a natural gravitation point--standing together, shoulder to shoulder. Setting her shoes down on the ground, she shrugged as a response to his question and began inspecting herself for sand, brushing here and there on her arms and shoulders. "Quiet," she agreed hesitantly.
Waking up that morning feeling similarly exhausted as the night before, none of her usual tasks seemed to show much of an appeal. Mustering energy had been a challenge, her concentration had dwindled, and eventually even someone like Lex was forced to succumb to the need for a break in her usual habits. It was a restless feeling, one that did not appeal to her.
Failing, as usual, to explain herself with any amount of useful details, Lex attempted to maneuver the conversation elsewhere. Leaning over, she gave Rictor an odd expression. "You," she began to say, raising an eyebrow at him speculatively, "reek of sea water."
