storm/quen/morgayne | late morning
"Why? Are you scared?" Quen asked, delighted. "Don't worry, Storm, Morgayne and I will keep you safe."
She'd stayed up late the night before with Ridley and was consequently a bit tired, but nothing could have caused her to miss this day at the beach. Some of the more experienced mages had constructed palings to keep whatever was in the sea at bay so that the citizens of the city could take the day to enjoy themselves among the water and sand. For the first time in a while, Quen was glad to be a scholar. No one expected her to help, and so she was free to play and enjoy the company of her friends.
Reaching out to touch Storm, she was surprised when her hands encountered light armor. "Why are you wearing so much?" she asked, examining his torso with her fingertips. "The entire point of the beach is to wear as little as possible." She'd taken that to heart herself. Quen dressed modestly most of the time, so even today she preferred to be a bit covered up. Still, she showed as much skin as she was comfortable with in a pink strapless one-piece bathing suit with a skirt.
