"Yes, sir." A curious thing, this attitude, and so very much opposed to the one taught at home. Service to king and country, yes, that was considered a given, and a proud occupation - it was why the Fighters' Guild was such a prestigious institution among nobles, and why even among young ladies, many were encouraged to learn to bear arms - but serving people, that was something different altogether. Common people, nobles, who knew? Aside from mannerisms, it was more difficult to tell here, with most of the crowd stripped down to swimwear or minimal clothing. But she had enjoyed herself, found the work fulfilling in its way. "A good lesson." A better one, she thought, than many others she had been taught earlier in her life.
She would remember it.
"You do this often," she said quietly. "At the guildhall, also." She had been witness to this several times, though she doubted Theo had noticed her, then. "You are very... considerate." She did not say kind, but she thought it.
