Theo/Juliette/Open! - Noon.
She removed the steaks at his direction, watching with amusement as people descended upon them. Some of them took salad, too, which made her inordinately proud. They would be the first people aside from herself to sample her cooking. She hoped she had managed the dressing all right; it had been simple, but even so...
She reached for the corn, looking at it curiously when she withdrew two ears from the bag. Green? But... wasn't corn yellow? And the texture... Quickly, though, she realized that the green was something to be peeled away. Fortunately she had not voiced her confusion - and the flush of embarrassment could perhaps be explained away by the heat of the afternoon. She began to peel, her fingers immediately covered with sticky cornsilk, but at least the yellow was in sight now. Having completed the task to the best of her ability, she handed both ears of corn back over to Theo.
