Quen lifted her hand from her cup and took Ridley's. "You're welcome," she said with a smile. She hadn't expected Ridley to make a decision tonight. It was late, after all, and Mama always warned her against decisions made after midnight. Ridley's promise to think about it was a start, however, and Quen would accept it for what it was.
"Are you going to be able to sleep now?" she asked softly. They were all going to the beach the next morning. Ridley wouldn't have any fun if she was exhausted.
