"She and I have had our disagreements, certainly," Altair said, unconcerned, "but we fought together in the Tenements and this weekend, I believe we've reached an understanding of sorts." Ofelia was not Altair's favorite person, and he was certainly not hers, but they'd proven they could work together when necessary, and that was something. "I'd hardly call her my Ofelia, though. Have I really been talking about her that often?"
"As for my business," he said, attempting to change the subject, "I believe the only wrinkle I've left to smooth out is how to get around import regulations and tariffs, as I am not interested in following the former, nor paying the latter."
