She felt her smile grow at the expression on his face as he unwrapped the book. She took up her teacup to take a small sip of the delicately scented beverage before responding, “You are quite welcome. I hope you enjoy them. Flipping through that book was quite nostalgic, for me.” She had played every song in there half a hundred times, at least.
She helped herself to a scone, split it neatly in two and smothered it with clotted cream, added jam.
