Kiernan/Mag -- COMPLETE
"You know, I've heard people call our guild the Eye Candy Guild on more than one occasion," said Kiernan with another long sip of his drink, "so this idea has merit. We should bring it up to Councilors Cassul and Liu at once! Everybody wins!"
The last of the pina colada disappeared down his throat, and he debated the pros and cons of trying to get the bartender to let him order another drink. He didn't understand what the big deal was. He was paying for them, wasn't he? With a shrug, he decided to try his luck, but the man only answered him with an icy glare before turning back to other customers. Kiernan huffed.
"Well, fine, if you don't want my gil. Same as any man's gil. Or woman's." Turning back to Mag, he said, "Some guys just never get over it I guess."
Mag rolled her eyes at the bartender's antics. "Isn't he running a business here? Doesn't he need gil for that?" Honestly. All because of a brawl that had happened months ago; what a petty thing to hold a grudge over. She walked over to the man (managing to keep the wobbling to a minimum), pulled out her purse and placed the amount she owed in front of him, plus a little extra.
"Get me a pina colada, won't you, darling?" Obviously, it was for Kiernan, not her, but damn if the bartender's attitude wasn't getting on her nerves. The man knew full well the drink wasn't for her, and she thought he may have been on the verge of protesting, and she raised an eyebrow at him, as if to say bring it. The bartender muttered something about troublemakers under his breath and prepared the drink. "Thank you," Mag said pointedly, and took the glass over to where Kiernan was sitting.
"He was pissing me off, but all the chairs were taken," she joked, loud enough for the man to hear. Well, she was going to get her share of death glares next time she came here, that much was certain, but damned if she cared at this point. "I'll leave you to it now." Mag caught sight of Aspel toward the back of the bar and decided to go check in on her. "Someone's got to take me home, and seeing as you are currently homeless," she teased, "I'd better go find Aspel." With a smile and a wave, Mag turned around and made her way toward Aspel.
