A simple bow of Aspel's head was offered as a reply to the thanks from the other woman before words were offered as well. "You are welcome, of course." Much unlike Elvira, Aspel's responses had no fake emotion. However, more like Elvira than others may be fully aware of, her responses were - perhaps - just as practiced at this point. From years of having different thoughts, beliefs, manners and mannerisms pushed upon her, and beaten into her, they were hard - if not impossible - to shake.
"Quite." The answer was perfectly sincere. Even if the smith hadn't been here for long, she always did enjoy a tavern full of people, if she was watching, or interacting. Both sides of the equation held their merits. "Busy, but well." Aspel's smile widened a little bit at the compliment. "It is not hard when for good cause." Time consuming? Made her feel like the life was being sucked out of her some days? As if she'd like to throw some of her fellow guild members off the top of the Mage's tower or bribe Kiernan into feeding their carcasses to Lucy? Yes. Hard? Not at all. "And your work? Does it continue to hold reward?"
