First, Siana was not pleased at the off-handed way the big one had disregarded her. Second, that man with his clever words again...
"It's yours? You should have said something before," said Siana, wanting to retort with something more, about how they should have mentioned where they were going before coming here, about how it would have been prudent to bring the documentation with them, about how he should have known enough to do something about the Faram-damned golem other than have them all fight it, but no matter. If the man was telling the truth, and Siana had little reason to believe otherwise for the moment, then he'd have the papers to prove it. "I would like to see these papers then, when we return to higher ground."
She eyed the rest of his companions warily. There was still something... off... about the whole thing, but there was no point to argue, and she had a good-for-nothing partner to get to a clinic and she still needed their help for it.
Faram damn it. She despised all of this.
"We should return to the surface, speaking of which," she said. "I'll see you all safely home if you'll see my partner to a medic. And I will want to see that paperwork, sir, within the week."
