Siana was not quite sure what the others had done, but she moved more fluidly, more quickly than she ever had before, and there was a power in the blows she dealt the bombs. She had never encountered these creatures before though she had heard plenty about them. The key was defeating them before they had a chance to self-destruct, and it was to her benefit that she had the extra strength and speed now, and she did not intend to squander it.
She hated that she needed to be in such close proximity to these creatures to fight them. A katana's reach was not long, and she was putting herself into too much danger for comfort. Nonetheless, the long haired man was not wrong; she had a duty to keep civilians safe, and so if she could keep the bombs' focus on her, it would be the best thing for everybody involved. The others weren't exactly helpless, at the very least, though something nudged at Siana's conscience about the whole thing. Fight now, though, and ask the questions later. She had a feeling that she was not merely escorting innocent civilians to the surface and that there was far more involved here.
One by one, she felled the bombs, and it was with relief and satisfaction that she prevented many of them from their potent self-destruction. She only hoped that her luck and skill would hold out.
