It was clear from the way that Penny's visage seemed to brighten that these children meant a great deal to her. She laughed lightly, "I can only imagine how much Cid entertains. It has been too long since I've last seen him." Too long indeed. Though she was grateful to hear that while they were traveling, she'd managed to elude them. The whole point of her absence was to be completely cut off from everyone else and if someone had seen her...? Then it was a failure.
