It wasn't like Emillion lived in a bubble, but Emily was somewhat grateful she had not been around for those. She had yet to show anyone that she'd changed from being a white mage to a black mage, and the temptation to use her new spells would have been great. As someone who wanted to perfect every spell through repeated practice, it would be an interesting test to see how well she fared.
