The sudden jolt caused Penny to almost dropped the watch she'd been holding. Fumbling, her fingers managed to grasp it firmly and she righted herself, before looking over her shoulder at the person who had collided with her. "Excuse me," she said almost immediately. While the other woman asked to be excused much more elaborately, Penny was all but ready to move on.
The voice reeled her back in. She was clearly being addressed and she wouldn't walk away just yet. One had to be polite in these sorts of situations.
Turning her full attention toward the woman, she listened as she asked if she was familiar. She'd seen her around a long time ago. The name didn't quite click, but the face was striking and unforgettable. "Yes. I believe we've met."
