Who: Emily & Penny What: girls go shopping for their mens Where: Shoppe in the Bazaar When: Wed. @ Afternoon Rating: PG Status: In Progress
Penny had meant to get the shopping done at an earlier time, but between herding Cid into not blowing up their home and entertaining guests, getting out wasn't exactly easy. She'd already gathered food earlier in the day and stored it away, but now that the sun was slowly cresting past the midday sky, she decided it was time to look for other things.
The pastry in her hand was made of thin flaky layers softly coated with butter. The wax paper kept it from getting all over her fingers, but it melted in her mouth with each bite. It was really one of the best types of lunches to have. She probably should have eaten a bit more, but she wanted something to tide her over until she got home to cook something instead of indulging on bought food. While she could make a croissant without much trouble, there was just something nice about having it hot and ready for you.
Finishing the last of her 'lunch', she made wiped her fingers clean with the napkin and headed into a store. The walls were lined with shirts, pants, shoes and different assortments of ties. It had been a while since Cid had gotten anything new. Yes, she would find him something nice.
