Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Aspel/Li/Jareth
The reality of how well Aspel was, was questionable. Sections of her armor had been ripped open, and the metal was bent and broken in manners that would seem she would likely be rendered incapable of functioning altogether. However, Ari had kept her standing for the most part and the pain she was in, well...... She'd been through far worse. While there was some blood still wet across random patches of armor, and the padding underneath her full plate, the majority of it was dried, thankfully. Really, she looked a god awful mess at best.
"I am well." Considering the condition she'd put herself in while a member of The Guard, this damage was hardly anything. She'd easily rate it a three on a scale of ten. "Thank you for your concern, I pray you both are well also?" Formal, she had to keep this formal. The thought ticked away in her mind simply even if she wanted to let her eyes linger, to allow herself to... Fuss, over their well being to some degree. That wasn't allowed anymore, and never could be again.
The sudden urge to remind Jareth of his manners struck her hard, leaving a heavy feeling in her chest and a cold weight in her stomach. "Mm." Was all she could manage while biting her tongue at the response. "As you wish." The words held their own restraint, though there was a faint lingering strain in them. One more piece of work, one more way she'd need to interact with Jareth no doubt. Though, at Jareth's new question there was a lingering pause, and Aspel's gaze fell down, a look off to the side and behind her to take in the body.
"This will need to be.... Properly handled, yes." Clearing her throat, the smith shifted. "I will need to make a statement, so the sooner this is resolved, the better for all Emillion." With another move, the hammer would be holstered, a gesture behind her made.
"Give me a hand?" Once again, her slightly generally proper manner dropped, something that she could easily write off as being exhausted, and in pain but... An urge within her was welling up, old feelings for the two men that she desperately attempted to shove down once again.
