Aspel/Li/Jareth
Jareth groaned at the reminder of just how much paperwork there was going to be. "No need," he told Aspel. "You can write your own damn statement." He was sure there were more statements that were going to need to be collected - his eyes had tracked at least two shadowy outlines in the distance behind Aspel - and one less to grab meant one less to collect.
The closer he got, the more detailed the hammer got, and Jareth frowned. So, she'd kept it. Why? It wasn't like she wanted any reminders of the Guard. Hell, she didn't seem to want any reminders of Jareth and Li. So why keep that old weapon? Although he couldn't lie that a little thrill shot down his spine upon recognition.
Before Aspel could answer Li's question, Jareth added one of his own. "Did you need help?" He knew she'd grasp the meaning; body disposal wasn't something new to any of them, but Aspel was a Councilor, and it was probably not something that she should be doing on her own.
