FAMFRIT vs. Party Five: Mag/Kiernan/Ophion
Ophion hesitated as well when the monster's flurry of attacks took a pause, and he wasn't one given to second guesses. He wondered how everyone else was faring against the monster, but the moment of curiosity was lost in the same instant. He had to focus on himself. The red mage could barely keep track of his own allies in their mess of fog, let alone others. Here he was casting spells blindly at this monster, hoping for his attack to work. It was not his preferred strategy at all. At least, his timing improved slightly. He waited, straining every one of his senses to observe the two fighters beside him, to move in better sync with them.
In tandem with Paget's shooting, he threw another Fire spell at the beast, a weaker casting this time in his haste to attack and keep his footing in the water, but at least the beast seemed least fond of that spell.
