FAMFRIT vs. Party Five: Mag/Kiernan/Ophion
Kiernan snorted at Ophion's response, but his body was no less tense than before, and it only got worse when he finally caught sight of the beast that was tearing up the Tenements District. This was not a pleasant position to put himself in, he knew, because he needed to be as loose as possible to be able to perform any successful maneuvers.
Above, Lucy let a storm of fire loose upon the creature, and that alone brought Kiernan some comfort. If Lucy was here with him, he would be fine. They all would be. He just had to keep her, and Mag, and -- fine -- Ophion as protected as he could, and really, Kiernan had never faced a beast that he couldn't take down.
Well, that sea serpent was another story. The same story as Titan had been, really, but that was a memory he couldn't afford to dwell on, either, just as he couldn't afford to dwell on Elwen's face with Ophion's mere presence.
Mag attempted a Jump, and Kiernan readied himself to do the same with Ophion's magic attack ahead of his. Finally, he found sturdy footing and a good angle and, hoping that the Mist wasn't trying to trick him, he leaped into the air for the assault.
