Aspel/Merri/Drake/Ari
He wasn't sure where the shots were coming from, but he was frantically looking around for them. Ari's scream had frozen his blood, but she was still standing, still singing, and he knew that there was no way she was going to leave, not with Aspel here. If he had the voice to curse, he would have. Instead, he darted around the ground, avoiding the Watera spells that the Elemental seemed keen on aiming at him, and firing off Aura Bolt. If he could get enough distance between him, Merri, Ari and Aspel, then he could try Fire Dance. At the very least, it would do more damage than what he was currently trying.
That was, if he could get it to work properly.
Merri was still firing off Firas and Ari was still singing. Drake couldn't see Aspel through the Mist, and he could only hope that she wasn't in the immediate area. He'd feel really bad if he barbequed her, even if it wasn't meant to be on purpose. He closed his eyes, slowly trying to work through the motions in his head before repeating them with his body.
It was called a dance, but it was more of a martial arts sequence, something that he was, theoretically, comfortable with, but it was still unfamiliar and he was still working on tuning the movement with his Chi. He could feel heat starting to rise and curl out, but before he could try to direct it, another gunshot sounded and grazed his bicep. The fire roared forward, fortunately engulfing an Elemental and not anyone else.
He whirled around and took off into the mist where the shot came from. The silhouette got clearer the closer he got, and he skidded to a stop. The woman was holding a gun, and it was pointed directly at his chest. Well, he thought, this wasn't what I expected.
