FAMFRIT vs. Party One: Altair/Ofelia/Siana. -- COMPLETE
Siana thought that she should drown.
Armor in a massive tidal wave such as this did not bode well for her survival, but fortunately she took in a large enough breath before becoming overwhelmed by the water. Unfortunately, she did not have the time to grab hold onto something, but the foundation of what was once a building caught her from being taken away too far. Here, she grabbed on to the edge, and when the water receded, she made a hoarse gasp for air and coughed the liquid out of her lungs.
Her grandmother's sword, fortunately, had also been caught by the building, and she reached down for the weapon to draw it for her next attack --
-- only to find that the beast was gone. Gone, as though it had never been there, and if it weren't for the destroyed buildings and the bodies of innocents littering the streets or the pain that she felt all across her body, she would have thought this to be one particularly harsh and horrible nightmare.
She glanced around the area around her, not sure if she hoped that she did or did not see Laurent among the victims, and hoping that the woman was not among their numbers moreso. But she did not see either of them, and finally, her legs gave out and her lungs ached against broken ribs as she fell to the ground. Her compatriots would need to see to those who had survived. She needed to see to a medic if the battle was truly over. If it was not, she needed to be prepared to fight again, and soon.
