Kiernan/Mag/Ophion
Kiernan laughed as they continued to make their way towards the dark form. "Faram knows we could use the money," he said. "They don't pay us nearly enough to deal with this shit."
He grasped his amulet to call forth Lucy; if the monster was doing enough damage to pull down buildings, a dragon wouldn't have to be too careful not to burn anything down. Kiernan didn't know how far away she was or how long it would take for her to get here, but the bigger the foe, the bigger the arsenal they'd need, and Emillion surely had nothing bigger than a dragon. Well, maybe Ari's... thing, Ifrit, and for some reason Kiernan thought of Rene, but that was neither here nor there. Ari was probably still performing, and Kiernan still didn't have all the answers on Rene, not that the kid would tell, and there was a battle to fight now before more people were killed and more buildings destroyed.
"Let's keep moving," he told Mag. "Lucy'll meet us." Wherever she was. The sooner she got here, the better. "You think they should pay her, too?" Then, maybe, Kiernan could think of finding somewhere more permanent to live. Definitely not the Tenements anymore, though, that much was for certain.
