Aspel/Merri/Drake/Ari
One of these days, Drake was going to learn to stay home, but that wasn't going to be any time soon. If the city had any say, he doubted it would be ever. His immediate fear had been that it was the docks again, but the ruckus was coming from the Tenements, which, for some reason, was worse in his opinion. In the evening, the docks were usually deserted; the Tenements didn't really come alive until the sun set.
Merri needed to stop and Drake quickly debated staying with his friend to let him catch his breath, but decided against it. People were shoving by them in an effort to flee, and he needed to get to the center of this as soon as possible. He nodded at Merri and started forward; just as he'd taken a few steps, he saw the Elemental, and turned just in time to see Watera slam into Merri.
Before he could do anything, though, Aspel came into view, and he shook his head. Of course. Where there was a troublesome enemy, there was Aspel. And from the looks of it, she'd been here a while. Both of them were physical fighters, and he wasn't sure what it was that Aspel had done to draw the attention of an Elemental, but he was pretty sure that the reason that her armor had some new dings in it was from some pretty powerful Water spells.
"You just can't stay out of trouble," he called out, shaking his head. In this fight, Merri would have to be the powerhouse. And Drake would have to use Chi attacks, which meant he'd only be useful for so long. "Water, water," he muttered, trying to remember what its weakness was. He really hated things that he couldn't just whack with his fists. Fortunately, he'd remembered to bring his claws with him - with the sheer number of disturbances, it made sense to have them on his person - but they weren't elemental weapons. He really needed to get a pair that were, but then, with his luck, he'd have the wrong pair.
