"Ah, Storm is such a nice young man," she said sweetly. They had met during the intermission of the Gala that Azalea had put together. She was quite impressed with his manners and was sure her brother would be able to shape him into a fine young man.
When the conversation shifted back to the topic at hand, she smiled at him. He was so eager to help, which was good, because she was sure she'd need some help. In fact, if she decided to take on as big a case as she was planning, she was most likely going to need all the help she could get. "You have a good feel to you. I like it."
The door opened just then and the lady who had been waiting came in and curtsied with apologies before whispering something into Seloria's ear. "Oh," she said before nodding thoughtfully and looking back at Conan. "I have some business I must attend to now, but I will contact you when I require your assistance." She then stood up. "It has been a pleasure to have tea with you. Please take the rest of the cookies for you and your family. Annalise will pack them for you," she said nodding toward the woman.
"Of course, m'lady," the woman said bobbing another curtsy.
"I hope to see you again soon Conan..." It took her a moment to realize she didn't remember his full name and so she let it trail off with a smile. "If you will excuse me." That said, she exited the room leaving him with the servant Annalise.
