BAHAMUT HALL → ridley/quen/merri
"I'm good Mer," Quen said, smiling in the direction of Merri's voice. "I'm glad you're here, and this will be a lot more fun now that Ridley is here, too." Nudging her friend gently with her shoulder, she added to Ridley, "I don't think there can possibly be too many volunteers, especially when they're fighting undead. Then they need Dar and all of the other able-bodied white mages to go fight instead of heal."
As her fingers worked nimbly tearing bandages, she breathed in and out deeply. Things were all right after all, she reasoned. She was here with friends, she was needed, and she was doing what she could to help the city, which was all she'd ever wanted. Hopefully Dar wasn't annoyed with her for being a brat earlier. When he came back, she'd thank him and Peony for the opportunity and she'd tell him she loved him. She needed to be more patient with her training.
In the meantime, she had plenty of work to throw herself into, and pretty soon she'd have other people to care for.
