Ari/Mag/OPEN
Ari's song changed, and the warm feeling Mag associated with healing magicks spread through her body. "Thanks!" Mag shouted over her shoulder. They were getting closer to the cave entrance now, though Mag couldn't see any of their allies around. She did, however, hear the sounds of combat in the distance, so she was confident the others were still putting up a fight.
It was clear now, however, that more undead must be surging forth from the caves; their numbers were greater than they had been a few hours ago. Mag had decided to look on the bright side: better to deal with them out there than enter the caves and find themselves up against the bulk of the horde. As long as their numbers remained manageable, better to fight them outdoors, where they had more room to maneuver. The trees may get in the way from time to time -- both in her way and the zombies', which was why it didn't bother her too much.
It was Mag's good luck that most of the enemies seemed to be Undead Knights, with the occasional Undead Mage thrown in. The Ghosts were the worst part; Mag's physical attacks did nothing to them, so she had to either cast Cure or Dragonmend on them, which took a few valuable seconds the Knights could use to get around her and hit Ari, or throw one of her healing potions at them, which she was loathe to do. She wasn't running low, exactly, but she didn't want to waste them if they might be needed later on. Thankfully, Ari's singing was doing a good job of taking them down before they could do too much damage.
After another ten minutes, Ari and Mag reached the small clearing that led to the cave entrance. The undead were present in large numbers there, and as they began to cleave a path through those, Mag wished they could find someone else, preferably some kind of fighter, to help them out. There was no way she was braving the caves without reinforcements.
