THE BLADES.
While their arrival had been somewhat distressing (she hadn't been aware that anything could travel quite so fast as the hoverbike), Lex attempted to move her attention away from whatever theatrics had taken place once the entire party was finally convened--for certainly what was transpiring between Drake, Ari and Aspel was absolutely none of her business, save perhaps for Rictor's reaction to it. Although in truth even that had left her askance. Lex was perfectly willing to leave these antics aside--for the undead were upon them almost immediately, and she could not think of a less appropriate time for it.
Fear crept up along her spine and lingered there, and when she had followed Rictor to the entrance of the cave in wait for the other Blades, Lex found herself unable to stray terribly far. It didn't take long for her to begin casting, and Wall had been summoned to guard her companion before she had time to reconsider. Once Father Luscini arrived with the others, she would no doubt heed his instruction, but until that time arrived she would tend to her own concerns. (Not that she was concerned over any Blade in particular, of course. Duty was simply what it was.)
Lex tapped her staff anxiously against the ground, the top of which was wrought in the shape of a rood, the same manner of weapon given to any church mage of similar ranking. Magicite was affixed to its center, and would serve as a means of light if she desired it. Mostly, however, Lex did not wish to attract more attention to the waves of zombies than what was necessary. Traveling with an entourage of holy knights, however, would make that desire less than meaningless. Certainly, they would do no less than carve a path to the dark heart of the cavern.
Once Lex spotted Father Luscini in his white vestments, flanked by Auvray and Balder (with Storm lingering not far away), she drew in a silent, steadying breath. While her focus remained on the approaching party, Lex nevertheless remained standing where she was, as the white-robed and meager counterpart to the armored knight beside her.
