Maria/Siana/Peony + Jareth Through all torment, let my faith not falter.
Another undead shuddered to a stop and collapsed. Maria, flanked by her EKP associates and Peony, led them quietly between two hills. As per her request, they had remained slightly behind her. It was a question of conserving resources. To refresh her prayers she only required water to soothe her throat. The ones wandering the earth were only so strong, if they remained upright after her prayer, so quickly struck down by a sword thrust or chop of an axe.
They would do well. The four of them were quick to be prepared and arrived not too long after the first responders. The mouth of the cave was spilling out with the undead like drunken ants and arrows, bolts, bullets, and magic hit the outer portions of them. Their party arrived to the eastward side.
"Our stand would be well supported there." She said, pointing to a path between trees and thickets barely wide enough for Jareth and Siana to stand shoulder to shoulder, with a slight curve in it. Not the most athletic of beings and with armor to boot, they'd have trouble moving through it, but it spilled open rather suddenly into the clearing of the mouth of the cave.
Looking at Siana she made gestures that she and Jareth could stand at the mouth. Peony would need a clear shot for her magic, but Maria's prayers would not be blocked by trees, thicket, or stone. The fighters in front could stand at hold and, hopefully, only stragglers would survive the assault from herself or Peony. Raising her hand like a staff and gesturing pulling back, Siana and Jareth could pull into the path at the appearance of magic users. They would trust in Peony's superior power to meet them once they came into her range.
If all else failed, Maria was not without her own healing powers.
