ARRIVAL – Aspel/Ari/Drake/Rictor/Mag/Lex
Lex didn't expect to travel in quite this way. While she found little issue with traveling with Mag in particular, who seemed nothing if not confident in her abilities, once the two were in motion it took a great deal of effort not to cling to the older woman for dear life. The hoverbike traveled at an unrelenting speed--and Mag propelled them easily ahead of their companions, as clearly she proved the most adept at piloting this particular machine. Lex held in a silent prayer and reminded herself to breathe.
She hadn't expected her calm to be challenged so quickly. The undead Lex had faced previously were certainly frightening enough in their own right, and the abomination that was the Lich was doubly so. Though Lex and Rictor had a clearer image of the foe they were about to face than many of the others, she also knew that only the gravest of dangers would await them. For servants of Faram, however, there was simply no other option.
Once the two women had reached their destination, Lex allowed herself a moment to regain her equilibrium, attempting to assure Mag that she would be well enough to continue. Shaking off the slight nausea as best she could, Lex leaned against the hoverbike and waited for Rictor to arrive. Perhaps it would be best if she learned how to pilot one of these devices for the future.
