ARRIVAL – Aspel/Ari/Drake/Rictor/Mag/Lex
When Aspel had sent out the local search party this morning to scope out the areas closer to the city walls she had expected them to turn up nothing. For these undead monsters seemed to quite some ways out and her conversations previous had lead her to believe that there would be nothing so close to the city for some time. They had all fought so hard and… Then came the communication from Mag, informing her that there were indeed undead and that they were close by. Faram.
Messages were sent out immediately to the guild, the other council members, Ari and Rictor. They needed to mobalize quickly before another mess arose against the palings. The last shake of the walls had frightened people enough, there was no need to give them more reasons to fear. Emillion would be protected through the guilds and it’s walls. One way or another, Aspel was sure.
With that, three hoverbikes had been commandeered from the FG’s limited and private stock of the vehicles and when everyone had arrived, they had broken off into drivers and riders. Aspel was a bit rusty and the bike jerked around a bit underneath the weight of her armor while roaring to life, and she had to wonder just how tightly Ari was holding on. Though, at least she wasn’t the only one and it didn’t take long for the three bikes to be setting off, streaking down the streets, through the gates and winding around trees up to the cave that seemed to house so many undead.
She had no idea what she’d expected to find but somehow, this hadn’t been it. Landing close enough that the fight would soon be upon her and Ari, but far enough back so that the group of them could make a strategy If needed, she refrained from yelling at the staggering and shambling monsters. Waiting for Ari to hop off the bike first, Aspel then removed herself from it, sword being drawn.
“I believe this shall be quite the fight.” Her helmet had remained off while riding but now it was quickly grasped in one hand, being readied but not put on yet. They, undoubtedly, would have one hell of a fight.
