Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Aspel had been learning how to be on time all over again with her new duties as a council member. For years she had showed up to events and parties and other matters as she wished, not really having a schedule outside of the commanding orders of the Guard, and then venturing around Ordalia for a year before coming to run her own business in Emillion. You didn't need to be on time for those sorts of things.
Yet, Council Members always needed to be on time. Not only did they need to be on time, they commonly needed to be early to set something or another up. To take care of business appropriately before events began, before speeches were given or whatever else had to be addressed. Being a part of the council met your work was never done.
Thanks to, and because of, that never ending work load, Aspel was - hilariously almost - falling back into a pattern of running late today. It was one that couldn't be helped with a meeting running late and everything that there needed to be done... It was exhausting.
Regardless, a light jog was taken up to the meeting location, a huff of air being expelled as she slowed upon seeing him and her face lit up.
"I see you have beaten me here." The smile across her lips glowed and she moved to offer a hug without trying to force the action at the same time. As much as she tried to be serious, or the sincere and mature older sister that she probably should be, it would never be helped. Aspel simply loved Rictor, and Seloria, far too much to ever be able to keep that going for long.
