[Stone / Darius / OPEN?]
It was probably his fault. He had been so wrapped up in not knowing what to do with himself without work today that he really hadn't been paying as close attention to where he was going as he should have been. While he had been thinking about giving Ma a visit, and helping around the shop, making sure she was up on her medications and that she wasn't working too hard. She didn't need to drive up her blood pressure. Though, right, he wasn't there, and he wasn't at the clinic, and he didn't need to be anywhere... It felt a little weird to not be needed for something right that second.
His hand instantly came out - an attempt to make sure he didn't knock into the other person too bad and that they were steady as he was a pretty big guy - when he bumped into her thought, causing the peach and nectarine to fall from his grasp and hit the ground. Damn. "Nah, it's cool, my bad. Wasn't looking where I was going." Though, it wasn't until a moment after he spoke that he fully processed the rest of what was said to him, or the girls voice. Slowly, his mind finally caught up with the glance down.
Just as his mouth was about to open and ask how she'd been, the vendor yelled, and Darius couldn't help a bark of laughter that popped out unbidden. "Yeah, yeah, she's cool Mac." A hand rose waving the frustrated seeming man off. "You doin' alright?" His gaze turned to her before the white mage shifted, hands moving to retrieve the fruit he'd just so thoughtlessly dropped.
