Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
There was a definite hesitation at the question, almost considering the whole thing all over again. Wetting her lips words were considered, turned over in her head for a few moments before any seemed even remotely reasonable and even then, they were hard to come by. Should she even say what was on her mind? Should she try to push it away? Why was she even bothering in wasting time, energy and brain power on such problems? It was enough to drive one mad at this rate. "I have." An apologetic smile crept up slowly, a hand reaching out to pat at the calf of one of Ari's legs briefly. Though then the words of how the bard would not accept her apology came and it caused an amused huff of air, a faint but entertained shaking of her head followed. How Ari could take everything and turn it into one light matter or another never failed to amaze.
"Hm?" Her attention had turned away from the other woman, yet when Ari spoke, Aspel's gaze found its way back, causing an ache to radiate through her body. Though even with that, something couldn't help but feel a bit lighter in her chest with the mark so painfully clear. "Ah." Pausing a second, Aspel stepped in, kneeling down on one knee as hands shifted - a temptation to begin exploration striking her hard and fast all over again, but it was refrained from with a long pause, barely - taking hold of the zipper before slowly pulling it up. The ache urging her to lean in and place kisses against Ari's back once again, to wrap her arms around the other woman and pull Ari down onto the floor with her in front of the fireplace to... Teeth bit into her own lower lip so hard Aspel wasn't entirely sure she didn't taste blood as the zipper reached the top. Leaning in, a brief kiss was placed against Ari's shoulder before Aspel swiftly shifted back and turned once again, beginning to pick up the containers.
"Dinner will be ready shortly." Her back to Ari, it was all she could do to assure her feet moved towards the kitchen and began to work on prepping the food to edible levels of warmth once again. Even with the slight irony taste of her own blood in her mouth from the bitten through lip, it still barely felt like enough.
