Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
"Good." There was something very strangely pleasing about the notion of Ari's inability to forget such. Though, Aspel also couldn't deny the odd little thrill she felt with the idea of others asking the bard where that mark had come from, or what, or who had caused it. Then there was another lingering emotion biting at the edges of her mind, prodding around in her chest that she couldn't name. It was quite queer, and even being so faint seemed to hold an odd sense of strength, even though it did make her a bit uncomfortable. Another thing to not think about... With all of the recent addition to her list of things to not think of, it was beginning to seem fairly lengthy.
Fingers in her hair elicited a pleased sigh, and while the smith was technically in a position to be easily dominant, letting Ari lead the kissed while laying against the other felt for more comfortable in this moment. Instead of properly answering, the smith leaned forward, placing another lingering kiss against Ari's lips, seeming to have no interest in discussing the matter quite in that moment.
Though at the next comment, an apologetic smile finally emerged. Another kiss was given, this one a bit more brief. "Perhaps it is time we let this game rest for the night." Aspel would be lying to say it wasn't an unfortunate place to end, or that she wanted it to. The idea of lazily letting her hands stroke over Ari's skin for a while longer was terribly appealing but... Probably not in the best interest of her, or perhaps even Ari's, sanity for this night. Leaning in, another brief kiss was given. "If you need to..." Aspel wetted her lips. "Take a bath, or whatever you may need to assist, I can warm dinner. It is surely cold at this point." While the smith wasn't quite entirely comfortable coming out and directly saying what she thought the bard might need, she hoped the implication was enough for Ari to realize just how comfortable Aspel was with letting her take care of whatever she needed. After all, it wasn't fair to be so thoroughly worked up without real chance for relief, and considering the level of respect... Ari deserved at least the option.
