"Well! That depends on what the armor is made out of. Plus it's more of armor like, in other words making it more durable and resistant to possible complication instead of armoring it up like a knight." A hand reached out, finger tracing along the current outer structure of the limb. "If this is restructed with a lighter metal, maybe an alloy, then it could retain strength, and be built around a person's leg, so that the leg would then move the exoskeletal casing with appropriate adjustments for joints and possibly some low level pulleys to assist with lift if it does end up on the heavier side. The hydraulics might need to be redone a bit." She couldn't help the slight frown that tugged at the corners of her mouth. That would add another complication to the situation.
"Right." She couldn't help but agree with him on that regard. Maybe she built something into the bottom of the boots to have an expansion system that would interlock and turn the whole bottom into a hoverboard like devise of its own? Somehow that did seem a rather tempting notion. "Hrrmmmm. That might work pretty well." The words were pensive as her eyes roamed over the structure as it currently was presented before them. Though, there would need to be a re-making of their the boot form, or possibly a miniaturizing of one of the propulsion points. Sticking one of the current sized ones in the toes alone would be kinda tricky, but in the arch shouldn't be a problem at all.
"I'm leaning towards the second option, having an additional layer of padding in the boots with cooling system. Like, adding an extra thick sole to go around them."
