Aspel/Ari/Drake - 4:45PM along the main street.
Ari selected the seat which allowed her to see out the nearby window. She enjoyed watching people, especially on a festival day. The happy energy was definitely infectious. "You are, to date, the only man I know who will select salad over a half-raw hunk of meat," Ari told Drake with amusement as she glanced over the menu of light options. "There may be hope for you yet."
Not that she minded half-raw hunks of meat, either - she had been serious in her statement that she had few preferences - but salads with goat cheese and berries and walnuts weren't usually an option selected by sweaty men who had little acquaintance with soap.
Once the waiter had come by and taken their orders, she took a sip from the glass of water he had left behind before speaking again. "It feels utterly surreal not to be cooped up in the Sphere right now." The longer days demanded by the shorter Hell Week had almost been worth it, now that she was on the other side of it - even if tomorrow she would be back again. "I'm glad I decided not to be lazy and came out, after all."
