Wil/Merri - 6pm; main street
Merri laughed nervously. "Moves?" His moves from the last time he went dancing included stepping on Ari's and Chloe's toes and running into a few other dancers on the floor. He really hadn't practiced much since then, but from his sparring sessions with the other sword-wielding red mages and the occasional blue mage, he was getting better on his feet, even if oh so slowly, which had to mean something, right?
With a blush he stepped onto the dance floor, which was really just the same stone and pavement of the city square that was closed off so others could dance, and he held a hand out for the captain to take. Merri only learned how to lead, but the size difference between them for him to be an effective lead didn't really bother him. It shouldn't matter, right? He wasn't sure if he'd be a good follow, in any case.
"I-- I can't promise I'll be any good," he restated. He doubted that the captain would take too much offense if he accidentally stepped on his feet, but it was good to make the preemptive apology.
