Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Aspel, admittedly, was hesitant to agree to such a notion. Certainly, she had asked for a price slightly higher than strictly required, but it actually wasn't much higher than basic materials and the time it would consume for her to actually complete the order. Though, with Peony's outline, it seemed she mostly wanted protection in case an enchantment didn't work properly or a piece of the staff broke in less than normal wear and tear conditions, more assurance that her staff would continue working as expected than need for repairs from accident or misuse. Realistically, it was a reasonable.
Giving a nod Aspel spoke easily. "It seems a fair request." If the rod held up to the expectations she put on the pieces she provided, then, it was highly unlikely she would see Peony regarding the rod before the end of the year. At least, not as far as anything regarding the rod was concerned.
A glance would be given to Altair, she felt bad for making him wait, but sometimes it was simply a downfall of how business ran.
