INTERMISSION - Cressida & Drake
"Can't say I've got any complaints," he said. "Every show the Bards Guild has put on has been amazing." He really did try to come out and see shows often; sadly, life had been hectic lately, and fun had to be put on the backburner. "If the first half was that good, I'm really looking forward to after the intermission," he confessed.
Her comment about not knowing what she'd been expecting caught him slightly off guard. He couldn't think of a single person he knew that hadn't been to the theatre, so maybe she just hadn't gone to things like this? "So, how often to you catch shows, Cress?" No harm in asking, after all. "Ari's show is opening up soon," he added. "Maybe we can go see it, if you want?"
It's not like he could go with Ari, and he hated going to the theatre alone when he could help it. And it seemed like Cress was having the time of her life, and Drake enjoyed it when his friends were happy.
