Pyr/Cy/Alecta
Pyr felt his heart sink when neither of the women recognized the name of Sky's employer. He wondered if investigating the warehouses would yield any results. Would Sky have hidden, or would he have left when the danger became obvious? Had he managed to escape? Pyr didn't know what to think anymore, or what he should do.
The choice was immediately taken out of his hands. Cy grabbed his hand (his uninjured one, thankfully) and shouted at them to run, her voice horrified. Pyr saw the wave approach, and didn't need her to repeat the order. He broke into a sprint, but the water still caught up with them and swallowed them, bringing them under with violence. Cy's grip on his hand held firm, and he held on to her arm with his other hand, ignoring the jolt of pain that shot through his wrist. He couldn't afford to get separated from the others. The water jerked them around, and slammed him against the ground, but still he held on.
When they surfaced, gasping for air, Pyr saw that two ugly toads had been caught up in the wave too. He hurt all over, but, determined not to get jumped again, he tried to stand up. His right ankle gave out on him when he tried to get to his feet. He fell down again, and saw that it was swollen, almost as much as his broken wrist was. The pain was even more intense, if possible, along his side, where he'd struck the ground after being swallowed by the water, and he felt dizzy.
Still, he couldn't just give up. Alecta was heading towards the monsters, her weapons out, but she must have been jerked around by the wave too. He had to help, however he could. With his uninjured hand, he felt around for stones the current had dragged with it, and threw one of them at one of the iguions. It connected, and the beast turned toward him.
"Now!" he shouted at Alecta. "I'll piss them off, so you take that opening and finish them!" He threw another rock at the other iguion, and hoped Alecta would get them before they got him.
