Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,

It was unfortunate how the Iguions swarmed. It felt even worse when so many of them were goaded into honing in on a specific target, and the Iron crabs were beginning to push through the mess as well. With little else she could possibly do, Aspel struck back, slashing forcefully and knocking down a couple of the monsters, but the series of blows denting her armor, tearing flesh and breaking bone, wasn't something she could stand against for long. There was only one option, and with that, she dropped down into MediGuard once again, hoping it would be enough to keep her standing long enough until at least a few allies could possibly pick off some of the monsters surrounding her.
And then a chunk of the monsters were flailing wildly about and had even... Seemed to turn on each other? What in the name of Faram... Then it struck her. One of the Mages, or perhaps, Ari. Honestly, Aspel had no idea precisely what everyone's magic could or couldn't do, but the fact of the matter was they were attacking each other and the best thing she could do, would be to get the hell out of their way. The idea of being cause between warring Iron carbs and Iguions was less than appealing.
Certainly, Aspel couldn't move quickly, but as fast as she could, an escape from the mess of monsters was made. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, it was just in time too as a particularly large Iron Crab was starting to move up the shore and headed for the boy that had come with Ari and Drake. "Blast!" Was cursed underneath Aspel's breath as the metal of her sword groaned under the fended off attack, covering the boy to only get slammed with the monsters other claw, shoving her back several feet, but at least, she had managed to take the blow for him, even if it left her feeling winded.
Raising up, her sword slashed back, trying to aim for a joint and failing. One way or another, she was going to take this fucker down.
