Wil/Peony/Riyeko
"As you say." She would not say no to additional security; she had never actually been up on an airbike. "Faram watch over you; be safe," she said to Riyeko before the captain revved the engine and took off.
She nearly lost the goggles to the wind, but after a moment managed to get them on. Her vision was a bit blurry with them, but she supposed that was better than going without, as they would be in the spray soon enough. It was difficult to cast from an angle, her hand barely brushing her rod, and harder to aim, but she was nothing if not adaptable. Perhaps this plan remained unnecessarily risky, but she had been quite certain of her own utility being greatest in the air.
She chanted under her breath as they approached the dragon. She had ample time to prepare, so by the time they were close enough, another Shock spell was released, exploding in crackles around the dragon's head. She dared not try Thundaja again until she could see whether any of the defenders were also in the surf - now that the dragon was on the beach, she did not wish to electrocute their own forces. Perhaps when they circled around, she might get a better idea. For now, seeing the dragon was also flinging spells at its enemies, she began Osmose to leech some of its magic to replenish her own flagging reserve of casting power.
