Ari/Drake/Nate
Once she was certain Drake had the situation in hand - and Nate was assisting by pelting the enemies with his own version of status effects for good measure - Ari finished her song and considered starting another - perhaps Haste? - when the edge of a Water spell flung by one of the Confused enemies grazed her arm. Instinctively, she curled around her mandolin to protect it, then turned to quickly and efficiently put the offending group of creatures to sleep - the easiest and fastest way to handle it until Drake could get at it.
But this wouldn't do.
"Watch my back for a moment!" she called to the two men before sprinting across the open space between warehouses. She thought she had seen something which right now seemed critical to her continued participation in this fight. The tarp was heavy as she dragged it free, then made quick work of the edges with her dagger - she winced; Aspel would probably be displeased with this use of her handiwork, but what could she do? - before dragging the whole thing over her head like a makeshift poncho. It was heavy and hideous and a little awkward, but it would keep the water off of her instrument, and if these things were going to fling magic around...
At least she would be dry, she thought, as she made her way back to Nate's side to see where she might be most effective. Drake seemed to have the remaining toads decimated or on the run - it was almost time to find another route and move on.
