Genevieve/Juliette/Quenten/Divina
The monsters seemed to be coming at them in greater number as they neared the entrance to the city. Quen tried her best to stay with Genevieve, but as they turned a corner, she felt something clamp down around her ankle and she let out a yelp of pain. It felt almost like metal, but Quen didn't have time to give it another thought if she didn't want to be left behind by the group. She reached down and aimed Blizzard directly into the mouth of whatever it was. It fell away from her leg, and Quen took another precious moment to check the damage. Bleeding and tender, but nothing seemed to be out of place. She cast Cure to stop the bleeding, and then limped quickly after the others, trying to catch up.
She was closer to them than she thought when she heard the scream. "Juliette!" she called out, and limped as fast as she could in the direction of her friend, forgetting to worry about running into toads or worse. Reaching her, Quen placed her hands on the other girl. "Is it your hip?" she asked, zeroing in on the place that Juliette seemed to be favoring and gently inspecting it with her fingertips. She knew enough about white magic to know that she couldn't heal a broken bone without having a healer set it first. Luckily there didn't seem to be anything out of place, so Quen cast Cure under her hand. "That might not have done much, but maybe you can walk on it now," Quen said—and just in case she couldn't, Quen kept her own arm out for Juliette to grab if necessary.
