Genevieve/Juliette/Quenten/Divina
The healing magicks washed over Juliette, giving her new strength. She was not well-equipped for this sort of fight with her best, most polished skills, but... it was a split-second decision - draw the dagger she kept at her belt, charge in to stab the crab in the mouth - as the Countess had said - then attempt to dance out of the way as it flailed and fell to the cobbles, bleeding blood so dark it looked black. She got a bruise from the edge of a pincer, but that was all.
She listened with half an ear for instruction from Divina, but she had other worries, too. They seemed to have selected the exact wrong route - the monsters were coming from the various adjacent alleyways, and while they did not appear to wish to engage, they also did not appear to care whether or not they trampled the humes in their wake.
She found herself facing two of the toads - easy for Divina, less so for her - and seeing no choice, she lashed out with a flurry of kicks and punches, her dagger clutched tightly in her hand, stabbing when appropriate. Miraculously, the blows connected with the creature's jaw, the iguion before her falling, then - the giant leg of the second swatted her, unnoticed from the periphery of her vision, and she went flying, slamming into the nearby wall just as a Thunder spell whizzed past her - the Countess - to hit the toad. She heard a crack, felt pain lance all the way up and down her body from the focal point in her hip.
