Eden/Li/Altair/Darius/Audrey
The fighter's needed protection with the coming swarm, and now, with a better view of preciously who he was joining, Darius realized the party he was with. Two fighters and two.... Well, he didn't recognize them from the Mages Guild or the Fighters Guild - and Faram knew he spent enough time down there - so, they had to be Bard's or Civilians. Crap. This was bound to be bad all around. Why the hell did he keep getting stuck in these situations?
It didn't matter right now though. Right now, what mattered was precisely what Merri had told him, and the entire guild, to do. Even though the words hadn't been spoken, they repeated in his head ' Protect the citizens as they evacuate and our fighters!'.
'our fighters!'
Yeah, that was a statement he'd never disagreed with, even if he did mutter and grumble about them being a bunch of dumb asses, Darius had always considered the Fighters part of his personal responsibility for years. Since his father's death, how could he not? With that thought, came the next line of preparation, setting up protection on the fighters. He hadn't had that chance quite as well with the Lich, but Faram be damned he had it now. With a few quick gestures, and wave of his arm, staff used to direct the spell.
A fluttering of white light, specks coursing through the air surrounded Li and Eden, layering over the Barwater spell he'd administered just seconds before. Protect would help to keep them whole.
