Divina nodded. "Very well," she said. "Squire, serve as my second." Standard protocol for squires, as she recalled from her own experiences. She hadn't taken a squire herself, so being on the other side of the fence was a tricky business. "We'll cover for the scholar and the Countess. Scholar, be prepared to cast from behind."
With that, the fell knight led the group out of the warehouse. Just as they reached the exit, a squalling Iguion threw itself in front of the doorway. Scowling, Divina ran Deathbringer over its eyes, blinding it. As much as the bloodlust thrummed in her veins, demanding that she stay to duel with the creature, Divina knew better than to follow her instincts.
"Hurry!" she called, ushering the group into a nearby alleyway as the Iguion thrashed about, disoriented.
