He'd seen the network message. At least this time, he hadn't been in his skivvies drinking wine in his room. Things had been pulled together quickly and since he had no idea what the threat was, he'd geared up pulling on one belt full of potions and hesitantly, picking up the second belt, strapping it cross body like he had for the zombies, even if the memory of the glass from the vials being broken and shredding through his skin was still fairly fresh. It was probable that he'd have at least a couple scars on his chest thanks to that whole mess.
Either way, he'd taken out of the mages tower at a full sprint, hurdling himself over low fences, and pounding pavement as he crossed the distance between the tower and the docks. The White Mage was going to need a moment to catch his breath before any serious casting could happen, but seeing the creature rise out of the water in the distance and then the large gurgling and pushing of water that came form its appearance, along with the sudden rush of monsters, much like the ones from the attack on the docks, he suddenly forgot his need to breath.
"Watch out!" He yelled at the nearest group of people he saw, none of them particularly recognizable but regardless a spell was quickly unleashed with a swift jerk of his arm outwards, and a heavy grunt. Hopefully, with the rush of things coming out of the water, his guess about them being water aligned creatures was right and the administration of Barwater on his soon to be allies would help protect them enough to keep them all standing while he prepared a series of other plans in his head.
